Capt. Snooze and others who think Brisbane are ahead of us. Since Roly came to the club, Brissie have had 3 coach changes. They’ve had to change the makeup of the footy department. I’m not sure why I’m even making a comparison between a club that’s won 12 games in 3 years to Freo. You say they’ve got an attacking game plan and their points for and against are better and yet their Ws and Ls tell a different story. Good on them for picking up LN but, let’s consider the loss of Beams ( superstar), more recently Rockliff, Schache, Cripps, Docherty, and of cause Yeo and Redden. A smorgasbord of young talent have left the club. They were wooden spooners last year. They’ve picked up a few top 5 draft picks, a bloke name Hodge and a coach who’s everyone’s grandad. LN no longer wears purple. I won’t be patting him on the back if he wins the Brownlow. FFC made him the player he is, let’s not lose sight of that. As for Brissie being closer to playing finals than Freo, just because they’ve got an attractive game style, and LN is the piece of puzzle that they needed, well Carlton thought bringing Judd in was going to be their saviour. There’s too many moving parts to think that one bloke is the answer to your prayers. Hogan and Lobb, your KPP that everyone are crying for, hopefully gets us enough wins, and I’m hoping they do, but it won’t be because we’ve changed to an attacking game plan.
