I honestly think belittling is a lazy man's tool for teacher/coaching/mentoring. There are millions of ways to educate someone, or to teach them new skills. Yelling and carrying on may seem like a constructive tool from the outside because it's so easily accessible to on-lookers, but it's guteral and far from pragmatic

What my point was, and is, is that around the time of that incident and for a long time afterwards, Tabs was last selected, and the first to be blamed and dropped by the selection committee. That points to some personal views being taken. Anyone who thinks he was given a fair crack from 2015-2017 is looking through rose` coloured glasses.

I've got no idea about the Tabs story being true or not, I just firmly believe belittling someone in front of their peers is not the way to go if you want to build relationships and get the best out of someone in any work place.
It's really verbal bullying and is more likely to get the opposite result of what was intended.
There are plenty of people associated with football clubs nowadays who can get the results required in a better manner.
