Having had time to digest our trade haul, I’m of the same opinion as Poly. I think Lobb is without doubt our trade deal of the year or perhaps the whole trade period. In 2013, he was pick 29, a second rounder, same draft year as Cammac. What we got is a bloke who’s now in his prime, plus picks 14, 43 & 47 for an exchange of 11 and 19. If your a numbers man, the pick swap leaves us about 370 pts. in the red. That means little unless you’ve got academy kids. Clearly, Lobb’s traits are his clunking abilities and his boot. Now remember Mason Cox, well Lobb can actually play the game. The commentary that we paid overs for Lobb is utter rubbish. He’ll do nicely. Did I say I’ve got full faith in the blokes running the club. Never in doubt.
