If we hadve dun adeal ealier , he wouldda been cheaper.
But we had to wait, in the end, mainly for Brissie to trade up.
After Scully went, Giants are starting to drive hard.

Im glad we got it dun before Shiel because that deal looks a whole lot harder for Bombers now.

I think thats why Belly got it dun asap after the other 2.
We did pay overs but got overs for Neale and prob a bit unders for Hogan.
Lobb wanted to come, we have a place for him and agreed on terms.

Net result- we are better off

Happy.

I am drooling at the thought of having Hogan, Lobb and Fyfe taking marks inside 50. I also watched the highlights of Conca and think he will make up for Lachie. He certainly is a hard inside player. Travis Colyer is also a line breaking goal kicker. I think we have really done well when you consider the return of Connor Blakely and Griffen Logue. The icing on the cake would be a fit Harley Bennell. Adding these players plus the experience gained by Brayshaw, Cerra, Crowden, Langdon, Giro and Cox makes Freo a side with real depth. I predict we have a finals team this coming season.

I get the feeling Colyer is the "Harley insurance policy" selection.

Good spot - he's a socks up type footballer as well.

I know Johnno was old school, but I still reckon he had the best leg tatt in the AwFL.

I guess I'm one of the few that rate this guy pretty highly - great skills, very agile, good ball sense and a long kick for goal (on top of his marking). I'm not sure if any of you have seen him up close, but he's a bloody behemoth. Don't, don't, don't waste him in the ruck - cheap price, worth double what we gave up for him.

He is a big unit...207, about 6'10"...and so agile. I reckon if he is played predominantly as a forward, as he wants to, then he could really do some damage.
Can't wait for February!

Yep, I'm coming around. Most of what I'd seen was as a ruckman, which i don't think suits him as much.

Reminding me of Justin Longmuir, in both marking ability and sleeve length.
