Because he can’t kick and is one of those who excel at the secondary level but struggle at the elite level.

He came with similar high credentials when we signed him from the Boxhill Hawks. Always wondered why Hawthorn didn’t pick him up as he was under their noses for years - then we found out why.

Apparently he’s improved his kicking efficiency to 67% - so only one in 3, instead of one in 2, kicks misses the target.

That would be an improvement for GC right away.

Good luck to him, I hope he goes well.
Unfortunately he has no pace, like as slow as Cox type pace and slower than current AA Johnno at age 32

Couldnt hope to keep up with the Kennedys, Darlings, Browns, Riewoldts, Hipwoods, Danihers on the lead etc etc. Hamling and Pearce are twice as fast. Really a resting Ruckman specialist but hes not quite tall enough for that either.

He reminded me of Leigh Brown who the Dockers let go after 3 season and 63 games, picked up by North for another 118 then 65 for Collingwood and played in the 2010 Premiership year, total games 246.
He was slow and known as Mr Fix It and his last three years 2009 to 2011 he played 65 games and kicked 54 goals.
Hope Collins all the best as he only played 14 games for us which impressed me and I was scratching my head when he was delisted after winning Peels fairest & best.
