I wonder if this means we've given up on Hogan as we will no longer have 2 low first rounders that Melbourne were seeking.

They now have currency to do the Lobb deal.

If Neale goes, they then have a pick early in the draft to grab either KPF if available or another inside mid.

I can't see us doing this and trying to land Hogan at the same time

Looks like Langdon, Lobb and Conca at this stage........plus a King twin.
Hogan next year....or maybe never.
Also, don't believe that the Demons won't budge from 2 x first round picks. There was a "tell" by Garry Lyon on SEN breakfast that the demons are worried that Freo have gone cold on the Hogan trade. Seems the demons really don't want to keep Hogan after all.

The Demons want currency to chase May and they have a Hogan replacement already. May would be more value to them.

Hogan would be a good bet for us but he won't be the missing piece to get us a flag. Maybe we would actually be better off drafting a key forward and having him when the rest of the team is peaking.

Having half a team all the time hasn't worked for us yet

Great work Freo. So now we’ve got 2 second rounders and a third round, and still a first round pick in 11. It’s a no brainer. Melb will be getting nervous about Jesse’s movements. And I’m tipping Brissie are as well with Neale. This is turning out to be X’mas in October.

With Beams wanting out of Brisbane they will be desperate to get Lachie now. I think we'll see something happen soon.
My guess Brisbane comes to the party and gives Freo at least 5 and 32 for Neale.
The result will be that we have go from boiled lollies to chocolates with all our picks.
