don't you know that gaff is the victim here. Not allowed to play finals just because he's a grubby little thug. Thats hardly fair. Oh wait, yes it is.

I see he thinks he would have been safer off the field. I think Brayshaw would have been safer with thugboy off the field.

I do note channel egurl has been referring to him as premiership hero gaff. Not a lot of acceptance of him doing the wrong thing by any of them, including gaff

I'm obviously going to be in the minority here and probably cop some abuse, but ever since the unsavoury incident I feel he's done his best to try and remedy an unfixable incident and situation.

I think he's genuine and trying in the only way he can to be as apologetic as possible. It's not his fault that the media and part slime sponsors take everything he says and does and try to turn it into him being some sort of victim.

He seems very remorseful and would like to move on. He knows that he will be remembered for this one incident over anything he has done or will do for the rest of his career and past that.

That of course does not mean I condone what happened and not feel for Andrew Brayshaw.

Not sure what else he can do.

I'm sure Gaff is remorseful. But when push comes to shove if injuring the opposition will win them a game, they'll do it. Even if its not the game they are currently playing. So next time we play them, we exact revenge. Again, and again and again. Just because they are nice and smiley doesn't mean they aren't bullies.

The thing is he wouldn't have been red carded as apparently no umpires witnessed it so they can't just guess, can they, no doubt will if one of ours. His coach should have seen his mental state and not allowed him back on but glad he came back for Jonno and Ryan to show him what they thought.

i'm still outraged for what he did but he has received fairly harsh and deserved punishment and he does seem genuinely remorseful. In fact I'd say he exhibits far greater character and morals than the rest of the club put together. His recommitment to the club was also very well handled and our Lachie might do well to take a leaf out of his book when assessing his future and how to go about it.
