I think 20 is about right. He's a reasonable ruckman in the prime of his career. You know exactly what you are getting. You get a pick 20 in the draft and they may or may not work out.

And if you argue Lycett is not worth pick 20, what do you want us to get for Neale?

Is anyone able to specify when specifically this compensation was known to Weak Coast? Yesterday they made (probably the right) noises about possibly matching the bid, but there wouldn't have been any thinking to do once pick 20 was announced. Does the club being compensated find out (or, are they able to calculate) the compensation before or after deciding whether to match an offer? It seems to me that there should be some fairly stringent rules around all of this.
