Shirley we can’t go into 2019 with Cox, McCarthy, Tabener. Hogan and Lobb in the same team (plus Kersten who was taken as a forward and potentially Apeness, Dixon etc ). Do you keep them all and have some run around with Peel or do you on trade?

We have not announced delistings yet. Expect there will be a couple of nervous guys at the moment. Depending on whether or not they are contracted for 2019, Apeness and Sutcliffe would not be feeling comfortable.

Sutcliffe is done like a dinner. I can't see him getting another contract extension.

Apeness signed a 1 year extension towards the end of the season, so he won't be too nervous at all

Having no picks in the draft is why a few have not been re signed, or been delisted.

The one I'm really worried about is Strnadica.

I can see It now, the Weak Coast eagles turning him into another Jack Darling for zip.

But if RoLy aint gonna play him Yeti...why keep him. Cant believe he wasnt given a tryout late in the season....mind boggling really - but then again, not mindboggling really.

Anyhow, i cannot see any point in keeping Apeness if Lobb lobs up. Been injured for most of his time, really does not show a lot when he does play, and despite all reports suggesting hes a great bloke, is really only a fill in player at best. Doubt hes ever going to be much. Wasted high draft pick really - we knew he had knee issues, we knew he had an interrupted footy development....we took a punt. Dont think it has - or will - work. Cut losses now and package him up...somehow...

I agree he should have been tried. I don't understand why he hasn't been but he's young and has upside, so we shouldn't be dropping him.

Apeness has shown a bit but agreed, you can't play Lobb, Apeness and Cox. The thing is both Lobb and Apeness are injury prone so maybe one of them will be available each week ;)

I suspect that somebody will be traded if Lobb comes in. You can't have too many of the same type of player and Tabs is more mobile than the others

So what's your point Yeti and for what it's worth I'm not sure who you believe Strnadica should have played ahead of when his best form until mid season was in Peel reserves and Darcy, Meek and Jones were better performed and ahead in pecking order. Maybe he could have played a game but he didn't and that's history so as it stands if Lobb comes in he is probably the first one gone although I think that maybe Apeness could be thrown in to sweeten any deal that might come our way. When he was fit he was quite impressive at times.

My point is that I was agreeing with you about Plough. He's a knob of the highest order.

As for Strnadica, I'd have him before Meek, maybe Jones based on his efforts at Peel. Either way he should have been tried at AFL level, just to seeif he could cut it or not.
