Are we going to go into this combine/trade period with a CEO as our recruiting officer? Or are there other people involved?
It looks very amateurish. I wouldn't have thought it would be that hard or take so long to replace Lloyd. It must be at least a month now.

Perhaps the list manager's work is mostly done by this part if the season anyway, ie assess all the available draftees and poachable players and make contact with manager's etc? When it comes to the final selections and making deals you'd expect the CEO to be hands on anyway. Dropping someone in just to say the role's filled could also be viewed as amateurish. Having said all that hiring Phil Smart in an acting role for a couple of months couldn't hurt.
