Noddy, you are confusing attitude with playing style. No-one wants to emulate their attitude, but the game plan and skill execution is another matter.
KK, you forgot to add that whichever side won today, the result would have been a win for skills and attack. And yes, we have proven numerous times this year that winning the midfield battle, and the clearance battle is no garuntee for success. What is needed is to win the battle inside the 50 meter arcs, at both ends of the ground. If you win it in your forward 50, you then need the skills to kick goals, not miss easy shots. If you win it in your defensive 50, you need the skills to get it to your forward 50. The midfield should just be 6 blokes helping that happen, not a crowd of 15 rugby players falling on the ball at every opportunity
