Come on Jezza, get real. They only brought Petrie and Mitchell over for one year. They knew it and so did the club. So they weren't ejected. Plus they've both stayed on in coaching roles. Be interesting to see how well they go without Mitchell next year.

By getting the youngsters in, I hope you're not putting Redden and Jetta in that bracket.

They played 8 debutants this year, the same as us.

74 days difference in the two age groups makes the Pies much younger hey? Pull the other leg.

This whole lot of hurt they're going to be in next year. Is the same hurt you told us they would be in this year?

I thought your posts had been a lot more realistic lately but i guess a leopard doesn't change it's spots.

CA, Redden (27y+, 187 games, Jetta 29y, 173games), I can throw in Cripps, Hutchings etc), are no snotty youngsters. They might have played debutants, but only Ryan with 13 games played the most. They’ve pulled the wool over most eyes about the number of debutants they’ve exposed but they’re still trotting out a very, very experienced side. If they miss out on Saturday, Simmo will be known as Roly Mk2.

No he won't. Because he's got a side that has a chance of contending for the next couple of years, if they stay fit. He also gets his team playing skilled, attacking and scoring football. Something Lyon has failed to do in his entire tenure.

Your comments about mitchell and Petrie are pure idiocy. They were 1 season deals. WC manage to keep the right blend of youth, expereince and skill regardless of whether they get good picks or not. The results are pretty frickin evident.

No, wrong again. Rioli has played 23. Waterman-16 and Venables-14.

CA, you mentioned Jetta and Redden. They’ve been around for a while. Rioli (52), Venables (13) and Waterman (77) were picked up in the 2016 draft. Like I said, Ryan is the only debutant from the 2017 draft. We’ve played about 6 of our 2017 draftees. Those boys have had 12 months more of conditioning. Trust me, it makes a difference.

No you didn't. You never mentioned a draft year. You said first year players. They are first year players and they played more than Ryan.
Age or draft year shouldn't matter otherwise that would eliminate Switkowski, Duman and Banfiled from the Fremantle list as they are all mature age recruits or debutants.

I’m glad our kids got exposed straight after being drafted. At the expense of Pearce et al, getting games into them are gold. 13 games into Ryan, well, like I’ve said, imagine how Pav’s feeling if the Slime wins.
