Sorry expat, but I'm sick of that too slow bs reason and excuse.
Unless you've got out and out speed can you think of any of the best midfielder in the comp who rely on their speed.
Fyfe, Neale, Mundy, Martin, Mitchell, Kennedy are just some that I can quickly think of who are not fast. These guys are a class above because they know how to use their other strengths and more than anything they just know where to go to get the ball.
Now I'm not suggesting that Bolton is in their class, but it takes a pretty special player to win two Sandovers, two Simpsons, and two most likely club F & B's. All this whilst being regularly tagged and averaging 31 disposals per game.
He keeps his feet, is rarely injured and his kicking skills are more than adequate and he does kick a few goals.
I'm sick of seeing young guys talked up and videos of them competing against other young kids when you've got good players like him, Kelly, Pickett for example playing at WAFL and similar levels who are better than players on our own list. I'm sure you know some I mean.
