The current jumper couldn't be any more bland and generic if they had the words "Bland and Generic" printed all over them. The old jumpers, like the old logo and the song, had the distinct advantage of being... well, distinctive... and the fact that no-one else liked them was not only irrelevant, it was a bonus.

I liked the green and red of the old jumper it gave us a unique look but I don’t know much anyway because I also liked the Freo FC headquarters in Freo.
I aired my views then but the Steves knew better then and rebranded the whole thing.
One Steve has gone and I’m still here and when the other one goes I’ll still be here.

I thought this thread was about Toby Greene and his Kung Fu kicks. We’ve had a change of colour over the last 2-3 seasons and there’s still angst about it and the lack of consultation. It’s finals month. Enjoy the magnificent footy on display. Just for a month, stop bagging the club.

I don’t bag the club I’m just disappointed that we’re not enjoying the sustained success we were meant to have. Whether that is a result of the admin people not doing their job the players not kicking enough goals or the supporters not cheering enough or a combination of all of those; one thing is certain that the club has been languishing around the bottom of the ladder and most of us here would like that to change.
As for enjoying the finals football I would enjoy it more if my team was an active participant.

That would be my old school jumper, navy with red, green and a white V.
Bring back our old one or the purple and white with anchor. I refuse to wear chevrons or wear navy so haven't bought anything since change.
And yep it's 4am, can't sleep, in pain as did a hammy (must have been while watching footy) so real grumpy.
