Corporal Agarn..Fremantle is not a love child of the AFL and has received no love from day one.
Our main purpose was to prop up poor Victorian clubs and hopefully make West Coast weaker.
No starter perks were given compared to the non Aussie Rules territory clubs GWS and the Suns which haven't helped us the past five years.
Brisbane and Sydney still gets special treatment because of they are in non Aussie Rules territory.

Melbourne ( 54 years ) Richmond (38 years )St Kilda (52 years ) Western Bulldogs (64 years) Collingwood (32 years ) have had droughts more than 23 years.
And they all still have a passionate supporter base, we could have another twenty three years wait going on the above droughts!
And Sydney didn't do stuff all with the money and help from the AFL, 23 years it took them after moving to Sydney in 1982.

Yes Mac but another 23 years and a lot of the current Dockerlanders will be Maxxy(Gawn).

We all still have the passion and I don't want to be like those other basket cases. I want us to be successful, like all the other teams you didn't list.

We always get lumped in with lowest common denominator as if that's a good reason for being crap. Poor old Freo, St Kilda, etc.

Nobody considers us as relevant or a side to be respected, and I certainly don't mean this as any offence to you but some of our supporters have the same mentality, as in, well that's our lot in life. We're Fremantle so you can't have great expectations.
