The club is presently emailing out the 2018 Members Survey.
I expect very little notice is taken of any member's negative responses, but I urge everyone who can take part to let the club know just exactly how you feel. What have you got to lose?

For my part, I (grumpily) commented that:

Currently, the Fremantle footy club are a huge disappointment, and a new direction – in forward planning, club management, coaching/playing style, meaningful relationship with supporters - is urgently needed, because why should supporters continue to accept a sub-standard product, poorly delivered, at premium prices?

I've had my say and I was very fair, but the Club didn't score too well when they asked about its administration.

And what the hell does this mean?

I know the rituals and procedures of Fremantle members well.

Yeah, I thought I did too Mercs - until I saw 50% walk out at 3/4 time against Brisbane. The seat renters are a new breed now.

I found the exercise cathartic, until about halfway through I remembered that the people running the club would probably just write off the comments as ill-considered grumblings from members simply venting about their team losing football games.

That felt strangely familiar for some reason.

Of course you would Brown Nose. You're a nobody, no time, nowhere, no excuses needed man.

Or whatever the club, board or coach would like you to say at any given time.

To say that nothing is wrong in any club, organisation, business, etc at any time, ever, especially in our situation, is quite frankly laughable.

Actually in all honesty Jezza, if you were able to change anything to do with the club, would you have something you'd like to see improved, tweaked, dropped, whatever?

The club know already what areas suck.
But my comments will be:
Ross Lyon's post interviews do more harm to the club than a 133 point belting.
I don't mind Ross coaching us until his contact is finish but put something in place NOW
for his replacement because Ben Allen might not be available early next year.
Hoping the new appointments will bring new ideas and different outcomes from the mistakes
from the past ten years.
It's not rocket science and how other clubs succeed is not a secret.

With the footy side of things, I assume they are trying as hard as they can. Its not working, but at least they are trying.

So I focused on the thing that really annoyed me - the ridiculous level of noise in breaks at Optus stadium. Maybe the club can make a game day app that blares out the distorted yelling of people trying to get me excited about something - blares it out harmlessly into your ear buds.
I guess I'm really old fashioned, but sitting in my seat having a bite to eat and a chat about how the first half went - that is my idea of a nice time at the footy.
Right now, I've got a brilliant billion dollar stadium, ruined by unnecessary noise.
In the free text box at the end of the survey, I may have said this once or twice...
