I reckon Bond has done a reasonable job in his time at Freo although I realise this is just an opinion from an outsider.
Yes there have been some questionable decisions but overall we have retained our best players over the years and we have recently brought a few good players over to the club. In hindsight drafting has been ok overall given the picks available but could have been better.
Unfortunately this hasn’t extended to the coaching department and think there have been some problems assembling and keeping the best coaches for the job.
Forward planning also hasn’t been the best to secure forwards and I still don’t believe the squad is being best utilised to optimise strengths of the individual players. Bond would be a part of this although this is something Lyon should ultimately be measured against.
It is probably good time for him to move on and bring in someone else with some fresh thinking. Thanks for the last ten years and good luck.
