Well a lot of other people have been on the same boat as Duffield with regards to our lack of skills and Roly has even stated himself that he doesn't spend time at training developing them, so maybe it was obvious to see.

Plus we've never been like Hawthorn who when they recruit players are very specific in looking at their skills before they even think of drafting them.

I don't get why all the blame for a lack of skills falls onto the coach. What about the players themselves?
Surely if you are a professional, in any field, and your skills in a particular area aren't up to scratch you do whatever EXTRA needs to be done to improve yourself.
If that's extra goal kicking practice, or learning how to kick with a right foot, or how to kick to a lead you go and do it. If it's outside normal working hours that this happens welcome to the real world.
