Did anyone see this: Average of Median Games Played for starting teams this year (so far). The idea is that games played can be distorted by a few old players but this shows the typical player at the middle of the spread.



It's a reasonable proxy for ladder position. We're at the bottom or the list but not at the bottom of the ladder which I regard as highly positive for the future. If this crew can be running around together in another 50 games they should be peaking together.

The median is the midpoint number. Do you mean to say that list, which is an interesting list, is in fact the median games played for each club?

Top 8 appears to be about 80, top 4 about 93.

Of course, that is only this year. It would be very interesting to see if it holds for other years. This is how I thought it worked, so nice to see these numbers.

Richmond look set for a couple of years. WC are probably do or die. Melbourne and Collingwood look like they are punching above their weight. As are we.
