I rate him. Regarded as one of the clubs best kicks
I think a few of his clangers came down to decision making. Hopefully that will improve as he gets used to afl level
Would love to see that mo flourish into an icon.

Played 9 games of AFL

Actually takes game on, tries to create by foot, bit of swagger.

He suffers from the same problem B Hill has had, no clear options downfield, once he gets his half forwards sorted he will be fine. I reckon Nyhuis is gunna be the Spurr replacement for sure, quick brain and quick over 5 meters, reasonably strong in the air and seems to have an awareness of what is around him. Oh, and he is not overawed by pretty boy reputations, treating them the same as everyone else.

Saw him play in last years WAFL grand final and thought he had something special. I have high hopes.

I like the fact Duman takes risks. Turned over the ball a couple of times with kicks into the corridor. Most of our team would have been too conservative to try. The kicks cost us this time but he’ll get better at them and we’ll be better because of it.

No wonder he's coming along well.

Development coach Roger Hayden, who played 128 games in defence for Fremantle, has been Duman’s mentor at the club.

“Roger’s been really helpful to me and always reviews my games for Peel and AFL as well,” he said.

“He’s always giving me little tips on and off the field as well he’s been a really big help towards me.”

I've been crossing all my digits for a while that The Genius becomes the first indigenous AFL head coach. Even if not for us (perish the thought).

He's always been a class act on and off the field, and our defensive rebounding is starting to look very Rog with Wilson and now the Doom.

Also has superb penmanship, as I may have mentioned before once or thrice.

I think his extension is bad news for Ethan Hughes who now looms as trade bait alongside Darcy Tucker to get us the 3rd and 4th round picks that we need. Both Duman and Nyhuis seem to be getting the callups ahead of Ethan in recent weeks.

Nyhuis looking quick, decisive and his kicking if very good. Can take smalls like Liam Ryan/Rioli type and play taller on a Toby Greene or Cripps too.

I think we now have 5 locked down in defence that in my mind are 2013 level, grand final quality players.
Nyhuis, A Pearce, Wilson, Hamling and Ryan.

Thats a good defence starting to form and of all the critique of Rolys forward line, of which I have been a part, I have to say that backline is looking really well organised and solid.

So that leaves Kersten, Logue, Hughes, Tucker, Blakely, S Hill, Cerra, Duman all as candidates for that one last back pocket spot. Assuming we use Blakely Hill and Cerra further up the ground and Kersten is back up for Pearce and Hamling I would have to back Duman or Logue to take that last position. Both are tall enough and fast enough to cover a Gunsten type.
I cant see us delisting Tucker or Hughes just yet but really cant see a role for T bone or Sutcliffe going forward, unless once again we are decimated with injuries. Will be very intereresting to see what they do.
