we are the polar opposite in more ways than one.
RM has it right. They have more talent in their coaching box. I don't think they are better at identifying talent but they are far better at developing that talent and far better at getting the best out of what they have.
Their ass coaches are a mile in front of ours. Whether thats because Roly doesn't want contrary opinions or whether its because the good ones don't want to work under him or maybe its just because Bond, Chris Bond can't identify a good ass coach, I don't know.
One thing for sure, if its a lack of talent on the coaching box then Roly isn't good enough on his own to make up the difference. If its something else, then Bond needs to identify and fix it, even if that means moving on the head coach.
We do not seem to develop our recruits as well as other clubs and that simply has to be a coaching issue. We have people who are performing at lower levels who can't seem to get a look in while others consistently underperform, yet get repeatedly selected when they don't perform at Peel. Its one thing being loyal to 'some' players but the loyalty is supposed to be to club and its ongoing performance.
3 years in the bottom six isn't my idea of 'sustained success'
