Optus stadium is going out of their way to not show replays of umpiring decisions and other things at the game.

It’s annoying me.

They change the seven/Foxtel broadcast to do this.

We get replays of the goals but that is it. This week I was at Optus stadium and there was no replay of the Taberner “push in the back” or the gaff king hit, the injury to Schofield or several other things I was interested in knowing about live at the game.

I’ve had similar experiences at all Freo home games this year. There are far less replays now. One good thing is they have stopped layering as much advertising onto replays (subi was horrible for this). That’s my whinge. Opinions welcomed.

It's a tough call. I understand in this case not showing it on the big screen. If I was at the game and saw Gaff clock Brayshaw I might have been tempted to jump the fence myself.

It seems like everyone was doing their best to calm the situation. The stadium didn't show the replay. Ross stayed out longer than usual at three quarter time to calm his team. The Freo players maintained their composure.

Well, everyone except the Eagles coach, who sent Gaff out again and again for no good reason. Simpson has gone down a few pegs in my estimation.

I agree entirely Maldo. So many times I want to see something again, and they don't show it. I was watching the tv, and they replayed the Tabs non-push-in-the-back. I can't believe they didn't show that at the ground.
I can see that replaying the Gaff brain fade might not have been a good idea, but I reckon its worth at least one replay just to set all the spectators straight.
