I've got to say this, in times of crisis I'm glad Lyon is our coach. He was beaten on the field yesterday. But he's pantsed the Eagles in the subsequent game of media. I'm not backward in criticising his coaching but I'll also give credit where it is due.

His comments, in a time of obviously high emotion, were both measured and accurate. He didn't get emotional or hysterical and his comments had so much more credibility as a result. It was as good as performance as was possible under the circumstances and bloody well done to him.

He did something that was well overdue and he called out the egurls on their home turf and said it as it was..no bluster, no bulldust and no sugar-coating.

And Simpson, trying to say that Ross should not have said what he did, looked like a bully. Essentially he was saying that Ross was breaking the code and squealing - simply for stating what everyone could see with their own eyes.

Simpson, Nesbitt, all of them, are shocked at being questioned and asked for explanations when they are used to doing as they please in this state. They truly cannot comprehend why we aren't just taking their word at face value and moving on. Their arrogance is staggering, though not surprising.
