I can see the AwFL will make a big statement in relation to the ensuing melee’s after the Gaff coward punch - expect Freo players to be heavily fined, AAJohno will get weeks for his late bump and Gaff to get a reduced penalty for being such a great bloke.

If a single fine is issued to a Wet Toast player I’ll be surprised.

Forget deregistering Wet Toast, the Docker’s need to find a billionaire prepared to take on the VFL ala Packer with cricket or Twiggy with rugby - and start a breakaway comp that can exclude those dogs down the road.

For all those who see no harm in biased commentators and media, if any of them have a hand in getting Gaff any less penalty than he deserves, than they are the same sort of scum.

If anything, the AFL should end his season and make a statement about this being completely unacceptable. The realistic cynic in me doesn't expect too much of the AFL though.

Jason. We joined the VFL in the 80's because THEY were in trouble. THEY needed the money.
Anyone who made decision for WA for the WA people in the 80's ended up in jail. Several Premiers of Western Australia but the Football Commission got off scot-free. They sold OUR soul. They must have watched and believed the ABC VFL winners. Which never showed the boring bits or the struggling Vic Clubs.

Ch7 commentary team are a disgrace to the game. They should be stood down immediately and an inquiry into their ethical and moral standards should ensue. Their fawning over that low down cur was a disgrace to the game. I am sick of the way we are treated by the media. Lyon and Rosich need to go postal about this.


PS this is an edited version of a message sent to my Freo supporter sister. The editing was easy, just had to take out about 15 instances of each of 2 words with find and replace.

Mac, we entered the AFL - those dogs down the road entered the vFL to, as you correctly point out, save their sorry a@&es.

Now that we have propped hem up do they spend anything on grass roots footy here or even contribute to the new stadium (AFL put in zero!) - no, they spend big on VFL ground upgrades and lock in the GF at the MCG for the next hundred years or so.

I don’t care who puts up the money, sue the AFL for misleading conduct as it is nothing more than a renamed VFL.

I’m pretty fired up too!!!
