Now that I'm calming down, i feel I can comment on something else.

The fact that we played as well as we have and kicked our highest score for quite awhile and still got smashed, taking our worst beating by them since 2000 shows where we are really at, which is miles off the pace. Every week we carry up to a quarter of a team who are either too old, not experienced enough or just not up to it.

If you don't think that's true go through our list and look at the names there that no other club would be interested in and if you still believe in Jezza's 2020 fairytale then good luck to you. You're going to need it.

Agree. In general most weeks I have been fairly impressed with the attitude and intent by the players but we are a mile off in class compared with most teams. I know there is a heap of debate around it but in general I think Lyon has done okay with very ordinary cattle this year. I agree with hypen- this isn’t getting turned around anytime soon. Despite blooding a heap of players I don’t think we have turned over too many gems. Cerra, Brayshaw and Banfield look good but they are not key position players and we still have not unearthed any forwards. To be brutally frank the forward line is almost wafl level. We are years away in my opinion. I think Fremantle should seriously consider trying to get pick one this year, and thus a key forward, by offering Carlton our pick 6 as well as either Darcy or Cox, or even both.

Not Darcy for me. He's the best ruckman we have now. Jones and Meek are not up to AFL standard and Strnadica never gets a go and will more than likely be delisted. Plus Sandi is really a week by week proposition nowadays.

AB is going to be an outright superstar. He was a Monty for the RS nom. Somehow losing by nearly 10 goals didn’t matter much having witnessed the aftermath of his injury. We need to realise that it’s just a game and the men that represent us are doing their job to the best of their abilities.

They all need a rest. They looked slow yesterday. And like a young team they all get sucked to the contest and it's just witches hats as West Coast position themselves well in front of the ball.

All of which is solvable. We really miss Connor Blakely. Stephen Hill goes on the ball when Blakely is back there.

Next three games play: North, Dixon, Swit(can't even say the rest of his name) and Strnadica. Won't move from 13th irrespective of the results.

I would like to think something like this galvanises a club or team particularly when we're playing our next game at home. The crowd will be behind them all the way. I reckon the Freo chant will be as loud as has been heard in a very long time.
I can't be there as I live in the country but I'm sure there are plenty of Dockerlanders willing to belt it out.
