Today is another meaningless game in terms of making the eight. I will go of course but it is hard to be as invested as if the game really counts.
I wonder if the price we paid to stay on top up to 2015 was too high. Our club has too many rebuilds and our success is far too short.
Maybe we should of rotated players and cut the bottom 6 in the 2013 to 2015 years instead of kept playing these role players game after game so that we can make the top 4.
I just wish we were a better club.

Look at other clubs - there are only 3-4 who consistently make finals.

The other 14 are up and down and it is cyclical. As long as you keep improving you will climb back up the ladder.

Look at Richmond, Collingwood and Melbourne. From basket cases to contenders.

On the other hand, the Western Bulldogs have won 5 bloody games. Carlton & Gold Coast - ugh.

Hopefully Freo will surpass the 8 wins they got last year with a team full of 18-19 year olds.

We've had our fair share of injuries - Fyfe, Sandi, Tabs, Blakely, Darcy, Bennell. Injuries have ruined WB's season.

Let's see how the Slime go without their 1st choice ruck, midfielder and forward - they're going to get smashed.

5 games left - win a minimum of two and it's an improvement on last season. I'm happy to win ugly like against Port at this stage of the season.

No team could sustained this type of game with the same players all year and win a GF .

Especially with the ones we had , it has been done with an extended team of midgets mostly that can keep running like

that all the time , but it has to all fall in place virtually the whole year and with some luck and not two many injuries .
