Seems like a bit of an over reach by Media Watch. I mean, are they suggesting a trivial matter like this would be shut down because of what? A sponsorship agreement? A deal with mates? No one would even bother.
When it comes down to it, the West Coast Eagles are one of the most professionally run organisations in the country and, on this occasion, one person took their role a little too far because they cared deeply for the player in question. That sort of commitment should be applauded not condemned.
