Just watched it again, TP and to my perception, Hurn is moving towards the footy, then plants his right foot, sets himself and drives at Honeychurch. He had the option of going at the footy which would have seen him give Honeychurch at best a glancing blow to the side. The way he lifts his hands to say "I didn't really hit him" to me is an admission of guilt.
Yes I did play quite a bit of footy, and copped and dealt out my share of bumps. Copped more than I dealt out, or maybe harder than I dealt out, so I do have an understanding of intent. But again this is not about getting Hurn suspended, but about the way the MRO and tribunal manipulate the grading system to get the results they want.
