Hurn was moving when he hit Honeychurch, and he had the option of moving towards the ball, which he allowed to bounce away past him, and instead moved towards Honeychurch. He was focused on the player all the time and had plenty of time to pull out of the bump. The only hesitation from Hurn is as he changes direction to go at Honeychurch, and he does not have to build up much speed to do damage when his target is the head. The fact that he went past the ball should again be a factor in intent, but my guess is that fact will be ignored in this case to suit the grading Christian will want to apply.
