Hurn sees the oncoming Honeychurch, head down over the ball, and turns side on and braces resulting in severe high contact. Rate it intentional or careless and its 2 weeks or more.
He chose to bump rather than tackle - so he's responsible for what happened.
If it is two weeks, what games does he miss?

Sure he was static, Larkin. But he braced for impact rather than try and get the ball. You can see him make the decision and turn so that impact is with his hip.

Hurn was approaching the ball, so was honeychurch, honeychurch stumbled slightly whilst over the ball to pick it up....seemed to sense hurn and didnt focus on the ball and pick it up instead stumbling past the ball and onto hurns hip with his head. Hurn did brace late.....should be cleared but will probs get 1-2.

He wasn't static, he hesitated slightly in the approach to the player, and as the ball spilled to his right, he moved left and into Honeychurch. An intentional transfer of direction away from the ball and towards the player he hit. Force was above medium. However AFL central reporter Rory Coleman-Heard has gone into damage control overdrive for the eagles with this statement;

" Replays later showed Hurn attempting to halt his momentum before making contact"

No Rory, he was changing direction, not halting his momentum.
