He was not driven head first into the ground. He hit with his shoulder, and because he had flicked his legs in the tackle, his head followed his shoulder(as all normal heads will). Nyhuis had no control over that, and should not be crucified by the official AFL website before he is even charged.

It happened in front of me and the tackle was great but the head hit the turf. The umpire gave us the free kick then saw Grey was out then reversed the kick to Port. Last week the commentators were laughing at one of our players getting a mouthful of dirt and grass after he tackled( straight in the back full force and rode into the turf) by a Melbourne player who wanted to cause pain.
We got the kick.
