Brisbane have the smallest injury list in the competition, have three more home games and I think they will bolt to the line. I think the Doggies will win two games and us one more - we play Carlton at home.

I think we'll get pick 4 in this upcoming draft.

We're the second worst team in the comp at present, I'm afraid to say.

People talk about young team and their development and fail to sometimes see the progress. The loss to Brisbane while disappointing can mask some facts. Losing Sandi and Fyfe played a major role. But while people talk about the Brisbane’s resurgence, they fielded a much more experienced side than us on the fateful Sunday. To be precise nearly 300 games and 12 months more of AFL experience. Should Brisbane finish the season in front of us, then by rebuild standards, they should. I’m willing to bet that we play finals before those plodders.

Hawthorn has the most experienced squad in the comp, and more finals experience as well. What's their excuse? I think games played per squad counts for little. As an example, Pearce and Dawson combined for a total of 424.

If we can't beat even middling and bottom sides without a retiring ruckman and one stand-out midfielder, we're in a sorts of trouble.

But I thought that was fairly obvious by now...
