Morgan, we get the ball to forward of the wing on a regular basis, even when we are getting thrashed, it is the kick into the 50 that we don't take because we have no forwards in there. So the footy gets handpassed or chipped sideways /backwards until we turn it over.
Walters, Matera, Langdon and Mundy sprinting away from the kicker and into the 50 does not count as having options forward. While a lot of the sides in the middle of the ladder do the same as us, they are not successful long term either, so that doesn't make the tactic right. The poster boys for "turning it around quickly" , the Bulldogs, currently sit below us on the ladder, playing a similar style of game has worn them down also.
