Then don't log in. I barely watch Freo play any more, because Lyon's sucked the enjoyment of watching it out of my life. Yes, it's only footy, but it used to be fun. That's his legacy, and I'm not the only one.

On the upside I've saved a fortune on my membership and overpriced overwatered beer. I won't be back til he's gone and there's a reason to go.

See, do people watch other football? I do. Amateurs, kids stuff, other states, youth comps. Most of it is enjoyable.

Fremantle invariably is not. And there is a high correlation coefficient with a certain coach

I have to confess I am totally in agreement with the majority of the long suffering supporters on this post - Lyon has destroyed all enjoyment I used to get from watching my team. I was a founding member and didn't miss a game in the first 10 years. I'm as passionate as any one of you and change my weekend around to always watch the game live now that we live in the country. This year despite the excitement of the injection of youth I am truely struggling to put myself through 3 hours of what Lyon coaches our players to dish up. Worse than that I have been given 2 seats to the game this week and I'm dreading what I might see and dreading even more what promises to be a long depressing drive back.

I am ready to join the chorus demanding Lyon's contract be be terminated but at the least if that isnt practical we must get a strong assistant coach or 2 to make Ross accountable as he is ruining this club and our brand!

Fremantle are my team, I have no other. When a weekend of footy comes up on the tv (or my tranny) I look forward to every game except the one my team are contesting. I find it hard to push through the full game - most are so disappointing I could barf up my beer. It just gets depressing watching three of our players running around in a circle trying to tackle, dispossess or intercept an opponent that just turns and runs away. These are good talented footballers that have turned into idiots.

I've remembered all the sales pitches coming out of Dooker Control since the Steve era took hold: "we're an anytime anywhere football club", we're a no excuses football club", "we're building sustained success", etc. So now it's just "we're not hard enough" which basically admits to excusing idiocy.

I see it but I just don't get why someone doesn't do something.

Remember when Harvey took over from Connolly? Players who seemed to have no idea how to play footy were suddenly jumping out of their skin in enjoyment of playing the game in front of them, not to some complicated blueprint/spreadsheet that took a Caltech professor to understand. What wouldn't I give to see that again.

Much as I agree Lyon has lost the plot, Harvey never had a clue. No game plan and terrible manager of people, the players shed no tears for him.

It is time for a change but what we need is a contemporary coach who understands how to lead young players and knows the ins and outs of modern game plans. For god sake Freo board grab Luke Hodge from Brissie team him up with Mitchell as his assistant and watch the young guys blossom. Otherwise one of the Scott boys will do,
