Check out the difference in the bodies on those two Brayshaw boys ( not Dermie like checking out).
That’s what a couple of years in the system will do to you.
Hang in there folks - not all doom and gloom.

expat, Unfit Bennell would be no difference if he's on the bench for four quarters as we are still a player down.

Anybody still think that Hogan would want to come to Freo?

Yeah, me neither.....

And there lies the issue Prince.
Forget all our problems...Freo's largest problem is that no one within the organisation can tap RoLy on the shoulder and say "This is not working' - we have to change".

Sychophants the lot of 'em.

Suma probably did , and that was the end of him....

$7 for a win ....money for jam. I’m gutted, with so many experienced players out there and 28 degrees and 80% humidity I expected a win.

I didn't expect them to win. But I expected them to expect they could win.

Never again will I have Fremantle as the last leg of my multi. Thought I was pretty safe at +49.5. I was wrong.

I actually expected, in the heat of Darwin, that Cox and the resting ruckman would pretty much camp up forward, that a couple of small forwards would stay at their feet up forward, and the midfield and backs would be left to do their job.

A bit like expecting Santa to rock up Christmas morning with a Rolls Royce, endless supply of beer, and 10 million dollars in his goody bag for me, I guess.

Eventually
Tonight we saw how off the pace our team really is. We looked slow, clumsy and could not read the play. We had a number of players who did not look like they were interested at all - Tucker, Hughes and the worse Matera. How Matera can be so slow and such a poor reader of the play I have no idea - he is the worse player to pull a Dockers jumper on in years - give me a half fit Ballantine any day of the week!
Surely next week we see Bennell, Crowden and Ballas back in the team and maybe give Macarthy a lifeline we just have to find goal kickers and players capable of keeping the ball in the forward line.
How we missed Fyfe and Blakely tonight and a fit Taberner would have been a bonus.

Can't remember a time when we have no structure. Slow the play down with less hand ball and back to basic backline and forward structures. Kicking past centre and no one there is easily fixed by putting several players forward and theres several less of their players.

I have never been more disillusioned about football. How do the board members look each other in the eye? For god’s sake do something.

We look lost and run around in circles with handball and 30 meter backwards kicks because we have no targets forward of the bloody ball. I do believe Lyon and Bond are lobbying the rules committee for an offside rule for next year, and for forward kicks and handballs to be penalised. That should improve our chances.

I half way watched the game and also turned the sound off at some point. It helps as you are less influenced by what the “experts” are saying.
I saw the majority of the team having a crack for most of the game but being out muscled and probably outclassed for most of the game.
Mundy must play again next year. We missed Blakely., Langdon was quiet but I really didn’t expect a result too much different to what we got.
If the Demons has kicked straight it might have been uglier but they didn’t and I think the majority kept at it.
There are good signs I think but I’ve always had my glass half full.
