Can’t pull a trick. Surgery on digit - out for a few weeks. Broken bones seem to follow him around. Time for some calcium supplements (WADA approved of course)

played an amazing game, apart from most of the kicking bits

Yep, not so much as a wobbly left boot as a pair of them today - a kick off his good foot was way worse than Matera off the wrong'un. I shuddered when he was looking up field to send a kick forward - I had no idea where it might go.

Hamling, Alex Pearce, Wilson, S Hill, Luke Ryan and Cerra - thats an All Australian backline in the making and one that can win us a flag. Im thinking this could develop into our greatest ever backline to rival Johnno and McPharlap, Duffield and co.
And talking about backlines, Nyhuis now should be a regular. He is several levels in front of Duman and with Logues year out, he should be a permanent. He looks bigger, stronger and more assured now.

Im now of the opinion that Blakely should be used in the center and not the backline.

Apparently MJ will miss a week after being reported in the WAFL, which makes finding enough defenders for next week difficult.

Turn it up. It's not that hard.

They're the big blokes sitting on the sidelines.

Unless I'm missing something, what do you need a thumb for in football? You just tuck it in under your fingers before you handball and...? That's it, you don't need your thumbs they just get in the way.

Missing "weeks"? Well, how lucky is it for this guy that it's summer in Europe and the States! Imagine that, toughing it out on the Champs Elysee, catching Wimbledon, cablecarring in San Fran, gator shooting in Louisiana, grooving at an open air Bjork concert...

He's a backman Polly, Thumbs are the most important part of being a backman in the modern game. When the big forward is reaching up, a thumb jammed up his backside will ensure the ball comes to ground everytime. Why do you Think Big Tex was all over the place on Sunday, (and now you know how the thumb got broken!!)

That does not always end well bro. Research the career of John Hopoate, NRL player.

Probably a poor choice of timing to discuss ins and outs.
