It’s an absolute travesty that both Cerra and Brayshaw have not been nominated for the RS. Last week’s game was AB’s best game and they awarded it to Hunter Clark( Saints). Like the Brownlow, the RS is a midfielder’s award. Surely by season’s end, both Cerra and Brayshaw are nominated and one of them wins it. I’ve got $$ on AB, but his odds have since drifted. So I’ll just put more on him because other then Cerra, those nominated thus far are no good. Coxy’s nomination was a surprise. In that game Cerra got top votes in the AFLCA award. That should be enough for the kid to be nominated. That Stevo bloke goes alright because he kicks goals, most are gimmies.

My money is on Cerra, has been for quite a while now.
I agree he should have been nominated the game that Cox got it but Cox did play a great game as well.
This week I thought Brayshaw might be a chance but Clark did play a beauty and has been pretty good all season.
His stats are very similar to Cerra and Brayshaws but he does play mainly in Melbourne, it shouldn’t give him an advantage but you can bet it does.
I still can’t believe Darcy didn’t get nominated last year and will not be happy if Cerra doesn’t get a nomination, because I think he has a chance of taking out the overall award.....If he gets a nomination.

To say the others nominated are no good is just wrong and shows you are looking through purple (or Ross rose coloured) glasses.
Doedee, Stephenson, Ronke, Murray pretty much all of them have played well and their team's supporters will all be thinking they are certain to take it out.

Naw, Hunter's been average in a crappy side - workmanlike, anther Mav Weller. Brayshaw deserved the nomination last round, but that woeful goal miss from 25 out sank him.

That red haired bloke at Footscray is pretty good - Richards - he'll get a nomination soon. But the bookies have Cerra with the second shortest odds, Andy has drifted to $51. Bookies know their trade - they love suckers like Jezza - the Rising Star bets last an entire season and punters are more than likely to add to a bad bet than hit on a winner.

Don’t get sucked in by bookies odds. They’re more concerned about where the money is being directed than the likelihood of who will win. If some punter puts $10,000 on a 100:1 shot the odds will shorten and it won’t have anything to do with the player’s improved chances of winning.
