Football is great.

Even when your team objectively sucks, and it’s raining outside, and you’ve put a slow roast on and you think ‘maybe I’ll just stay in’ but then you go, and have a few beers with your mates and your team inexplicably gets up and you have a few more beers with your mates and a bloke you’ve spotted ftom Dockerland because he put up his hand for the mother-of-all umpy sprays the game before (shouts to Jason) and you’ve just got home and....I think I lost my train of thought.

MMM. I'm surprised there's not more love for Ed Langdon. I thought he was best on ground. The ground he covered and sprints to position and kicks to team mates were phenomenal. Cerra was very good, but I thought Ed had more impact.

No Fyfe no Sandi and a host of certain starters out with all sorts of injuries .... and then .... the unexpected happens. The youngsters combine to grind out a gutsy win against the odds. IMO it’s our best win for the season.
The players should be brimming with confidence in their pursuit of a two in a row against the blues.
It’s been a tough season so far without much to smile about but tonight the future looks brighter and there’s only one team in town.
