I haven't read it but here is my theory on our utter fall off a cliff.

2011 to 2105 saw us yield about half a dozen players from 40 picks. During this time we were the second best team in the competition with a mature list. That team has dismantled in two seasons pretty much and there just isn't much underneath of quality to come through.

Now here's the thing, some of those drafts were compromised and many were just weak drafts. We were the first team out of this period that needed to rebuild - to call on those players from that compromised/ weak period.

My thinking is that a few others will be falling in a hole soon, think Geelong etc.....

We played the same players and run them into the ground .

Didn't bring others through bit by bit to get games into them ( who ever we had )

and then got rid of a lot of the experienced ones for kids , cant work it out ?

Yeti, I spent enough time reading stories to my 2-3 yo nieces and nephews to be able to explain things to Terry at the right level, but even that level may be just a bit beyond his grasp. What is hackdorn up to at the moment, it would suit his unique talents.
