I'd like to see us play 2 talls up forward.

Apeness and Cox. Hopefully Cox will be working on his kicking action over the week. We've lost Hill and don't really have a like for like replacement. I'd keep Johnno for his footy smarts.

Sandi is now a confirmed out, so Apeness will need to ruck but hopefully resting forward. I think we could significantly improve our scoring potential if we actually played 2 talls forward

I’d be happy with 2 talls if we had them. The ins I like to see are Giro, Apeness, Duman and Harley. We need some running power to combat Pies at the ‘G’. Grundy will swallow us in the ruck so good luck to Apeness.

Have to agree Yeti. More forwards please.
Bring in the Ape and Strnadica. Have them and Cox rotate through the forward line and ruck. Gee we need Darcy fit and healthy.
Giro for Hilly and maybe Duman for Johnno.
We're playing at the G so let's give the kids a crack on the big stage. Could be 13 guys with under 50 games.

How would we structure up when either Cox or Apeness are off the ground to sustain 2 talls in the fwd line?

Get ready for it, unfortunately they've a better available 22 and will beat us......nothing to do with coaching.

They may win Noddy as they are playing pretty well but we don't need to make it easy for them.

Scoring 60 points or less will pretty ensure they win, so the alternative to that is to have a go and at least try to get a decent score.

As for structuring up when one is off the ground? Well rotate Fyfe, Mundy through the forward area. We have the cattle to do that

Well Docker26 suggested Strnadica - but you knew that answer too then I guess. He has had some support on other threads as worth a shot. I don't know enough about the kid but would be happy enough to see it tried.

Personally, I'm not fussed about another tall but want targets. If they're not tall then targets leading towards midfielders from the goal (by this I mean OUR goal). McCarthy can do this, Cox can do this, Mundy can do this. And assuming we can play without being outnumbered down there then we have forwards who can play off these targets.

Yep Strnadica is a rookie but I think he still Ok to play under the new rules. I just like the fact that he's 200cm and 100kg and likes to run towards the ball kicker. It might just straighten us up a bit.
