I love the indigenous jumpers, and don't know why clubs don't wear them more, perhaps as their clash jumpers.

A few initial thoughts:

Carlton: I know this is a family website, but I find Carlton's jumper to be, umm, provocative.

Collingwood: That’s the Scott Cummings of Magpies

Hawthorn: Unimpressed by Sydney’s blocking, Hawthorn has responded by seemingly adding actual blocks to their indigenous jumper. I’m not a huge fan.

Sydney: Unless you are WA’s Buddy Franklin, get that black swan off your jumper.

West Coast designed their jumper by committee. Of course they did.

Of course - and those stacks of totems really look great. Brisbane's is pretty good, understated and rich. But Melbourne's is probably the most impressive with its overall design and the way it avoids any literal reference.

Still like the WeePoos though - wouldn't it be great to see Cyril, Burgoyner and a reborn Impy rockin' out in that jumper. Hawthorne always play to win, rebuilding or rebooting. I guess that's why they have 90000+ members.

Hypen's right about ours though - looks kind of insipid with all that white with purple scrolling. It needs more colour - hey, wouldn't it look great with red on one shoulder and green on the other! You know, it kinda symbolises a football brotherhood before the carpetbaggers colonised everything. I reckon Dale would be right into getting the textas out with Richard if Cockburn Control gave the thumbs up.

Why not get the whole Kickett clan into our next one - even Buddy's Mum - there's some great artists in that family (like the sisters down in Narrogin). Full texta palette - purple, white, green and red: go for yer life on it.

Edit: And get Des Headland to model it for the photos, in sunnies - he's got to be the coolest ex-footy bloke around nowadays.
