Agree. And this is the problem with nasty rebuilds like ours- you are forced to pour games into players who don’t deserve their spot in the hope they eventually come good. I aren’t seeing it anywhere.

I'm loath to criticise a player that is in the side at present- imagine having to front up on game day knowing what you know is about to happen. Tucker is willing himself into contests, but even if you get a touch there's no where to go with it.

I honestly feel for everyone on the field - things are going from bad to worse and they're stuck at the coal face.

He was poor today. But he has been ok before this performance.
He does lack the appetite for the hard contest. He does not appear to be that sort of player.
He did not resign with freo until the last minute.
No doubt he will go and be a good outside player somewhere else.

Yes, it must be difficult fronting up to that set up each week but in my eyes Tucker has played enough games now to judge what you see is what you get. I don't think he would rate too highly as a trade but if it helped us get a decent forward then au revoir.
Now on the other hand two guys of a similar age are fronting up to the same place and they play well every week. Thank goodness for Ryan and Langdon. Please don't go back home.

Need to see more of that. To be a competitive team we need 22 contributors yesterday he contributed, still far from a dominant performance.
There would be some players on our list would wish for 30+ games with his level of scrutiny.
If he can lift his output he has the attributes. I have seen flashes that he can be very clean.
Given where we are, we need to make the right decisions on who is going to convert flashes to reliable output.

I thouht he was ok, plenty more that were worse. Even Fyfe wasn’t quite at his normal lofty standards. We got pumped well and truly. It’s hard to find more than 4-5 that had a good game. 17 posessions and 2 goals is reasonable.
