I will take Balla's ahead of Matera any day, at least he knows what a contest is. Sure Hill needed the run, but he got better as the game went on and I would rather him playing for Freo than giving some glory hunter in the WAFL a chance to take him out.

Pearce has had a couple of poor weeks after a great start to the season. Understandable after so long out of the game.
Disappointed that Wilson's game has dropped off somewhat after his good start.

Bit harsh on Pearce, he was only beaten a few times, considering the wet conditions their delivery into the forward line was very good. I think matera needs a rest and as soon as Giro is deemed ready he should come in for Pearce. The game opened up once Sandy went off
If Sandy doesn’t get up next week which is unlikely I think we’re in for a thumping, not a lot in the wafl.

Sandi had to be given a rest sooner or later but ffs can you imagine Cox and Apeness vs Grundy and Cox next week. That is scarily bad.

The ridiculousness of picking Pearce again resulted in the underwhelming performance we all expected anyway.
