Did we scream and yell and say he shoulda got off? No, we said he didn't hit Ling hard enough because he gave evidence at the tribunal that he would miss 8 weeks of footy, then came out and played the next week. If it was the only instance I would not be a conspiracy theorist, but D Kickett, Sandi, Farmer, Fyfe, Johnno, Pav, all copped time for offences then saw opponents get off for hitting them.

I think times have changed dramatically since the Solomon hit ...it makes no sense to compare the two incidents. Then to raise Dale Kicketts suspension is well and truly living in the past. Buddy got off and as a footy fan it was the right decision. I fail to see an anti Freo conspiracy in the outcome.

I thought the awfl was trying to get rid of the risk of concussion through deliberate or blatantly careless acts. I used those examples to show they are going the other way (when it suits their pockets) and that they have different rules for some.
