Franklin looked at Hamling, then raised the arc of his elbow to collect Hamling on the chin. The awfl keeps banging on about the head being sacrosanct, players having a duty of care over concussion under ALL circumstances, and then wet their pants when the golden boy comes up with this. Franklin intentionally hit Hamling with the elbow, he has done it before and will continue to do it. But next time he will hit an eagle, or a Hawk, or a Giant and the awfl will decide that it is worth 2 weeks.
I would just say it is luck of the draw, but Freo players continue to get taken out by opponents who escape justice, while being suspended for the same or less. Dean Solomon would be wishing he was playing in this era. It was worth 6 weeks in his day.
