I wouldn't say it's tracking perfectly, but there's still a chance we'll win more games than we did last season. If you had no idea of our record and you logged in to Dockerland, you'd assume were winless.

We're a below average team with a lot of new faces, that wins at home against bad teams and loses away against good teams. That's just shy of mediocre.

From where we came from the last two years mediocre would be tracking well.

As for our deficiencies, yes, it is the forward line, but have you watched how teams like WC, Sydney and Richmond bring the ball out of defence? If we were nearly as good at moving the ball down the ground, we could afford to have a bloke or two standing in the forward 50 waiting for it.

RR, if our forwards were forward, there would be space for the likes of the Hills, Walters, Cerra, Brayshaw, Neale and co to move the ball like that too. At the moment, every time they turn around they run into one of our forwards or an opposition backman.
