Is it just me or are there others who see no progress from last year's patheticness? Surely we should be seeing signs of improvement by now.

We have the Hill brothers out but that's about it. There are sides who have up to a third of their best 22 out and still winning, so injuries are not an excuse.

Please don't use the young players excuse either because their are sides being fielded that are younger than ours who are far more competitive and don't get handed these shellackings that we consistently rack up every year.

It's not good enough. Something has to change somehow, somewhere. Please!

Our boys are psychologically shot. That look as flat and passionless as I can remember. I’m not sure what is chicken and what is egg but their lack of confidence and poor skills have to by linked. At the moment we can’t hit teammates by hand or foot - surely they had some skills when most of these guys were recruited.

The way we play is not a winning formula but it’s also not very competitive nor is it an exciting way to play. The team doesn’t look confident on the field there are far too many mistakes being made. I don’t see these aspects of Freo’s game as excuses I see them as coaching issues that need to be addressed.
I’m just a supporter I don’t really know much about the game.
I don’t understand why the players miss easy shots on goal or why they don’t seem to have anyone to kick to or why they kick it to a team mate who has no chance of getting the ball or why they seem so dispirited.

I've never seen a Freo team not be able to run like tonight. Don't know if it's a fatigue or capability thing. But that was awful. It was totally inadequate. At what point does Lyon start feeling some pressure?

Note to self!

Do not get excited by draft picks again.
Do not believe others that say stuff like this is our year, we will make the eight, etc.
Do not believe that bringing back good players from other clubs will help,because they always look worse when playing for us.
Do not believe the coach when he says he is making changes to our game plan.
Do not believe anything much about Fremantle until I start seeing something that I and the players seem to believe in.

We've beaten four mediocre teams at home, got close to West Coast, weren't embarrassed by GWS, and have been smashed by three good teams away.

Had hoped we'd be playing better than we are, but we shouldn't be too surprised to be sitting 4-5 at this stage should we?

The person that masquerades as a coach must surely be held to account, the team changes each year but the results are the same, the longer the season goes the bigger the kick to the guts and the current players are better than this, long overdue for a change...

I thought our effort was excellent. I did not see anything much different in terms of effort, running, and execution this week than I normally see.
Sydney were very good, and once they got it out of their defence their movement into attack was really good. Ditto when they won centre clearances.
