I don’t wish to have a negative vibe but I’m just interested to know how hawthorn and us let this guy go.

At halftime today he has had about 20 touches and kicked 2 goals.

Did he just find himself at two clubs which were performing really well and couldn’t break into the team? I think he may have had an injury or two along the way? Did he play good footy at peel?

Is he actually a late bloomer?

It’s just astonishing he could have been delisted twice.

I think Hodge just implied in the commentary that Hawks delisted him because of his skills. I know that he had lots of injuries with us and when playing for Peel always seemed to be a tagger. Definitely the type of player we could do with and he’s obviously worked hard on his skills.

I imagine Mayne only got in because of injury, but in the end he looked like he belonged out there.
But if Fyfe doesn't win the Brownlow, I'm giving it to Treloar. He is amazing.

KK - He simply couldnt get on the park.
Although he would win the 3km time trial by the length of the straight, come game time he was always on the sidelines.
He also had an unbelievably strong midfield at the time.
We were carrying Morabito on the list..
When he did play for EF - He didnt stand out and skills were average at best.
It took a back half year of dominance at Subiaco and nearly win the Sandover for Geel to give him a chance..
