Anyone noticed how flexible the seat backs are?
If your 6'4" and sit behind a bloke who moves around and leans back you'll have bruised knees that take a week to subside.

Hi purplethai,
Definitely sit in the western end of Optus/Perth Stadium; even better the north west arc. The remainder of our home games are afternoon and if you sit on the eastern/south eastern side of the oval, you will spend the whole game looking into the sun. Won't be able to see much :-)
Also, if you have an issue with heights, you may need to take into account the front of level 3 and 5 are glass barriers. I know several people who do not like standing or sitting at the front of these tiers because of this but are fine several rows back.
I personally find the 5th level fantastic for viewing the big screen but a little high to see the players properly. Others have no issue. I really like level 1 and 3.
It is a long time since I have been to Etihad but hopefully the roof will be closed if it rains.

All very helpful, particularly the sauerkraut, personally I like my dogs German style so will be heading to Vic market when I am in Melbourne... and avoiding the traditional dog at Optus.
Been keenly following the Morgan reviews and looking forward to the next few weeks, especially once the foot bridge opens.
As for seating, sounds like can't go to far wrong on the north side toward the city

At the ground? I've only been a couple of times and can't remember exactly which ones are available. Single Fin, Atomic, Alby?. Alby would be the most unpopular. Heaps more available just outside the ground at The Camfield
