I too have endured the Classic hot dog and can attest to it being the worst (whoops) I’ve ever eaten.

How hard would it be to set up a Bunnings tent and bbq on the concourse and have the local junior footy club knocking out $2.50 hot dogs with DIY sauce and mustard?? Add the Optus surcharge and make them $5 for all I care and you’d still be way in front.

I would have preferred if the stadium managers had pursued the 'food court' route and just sell space along the concourses to different vendors.

Or, put another way, how bad does the food need to be to be compared unfavourably to a food court?

There might be a place that sells both hotdogs and chips but the hot dog place does not sell chips or pies. Presumably they need specialist equipment to keep a pie warm that they just don't have.

I've spent too much of my time queuing up at places that don't sell pies. It's a sore point.

Where's Morgan Reviews on that?

It's my solemn duty to try all the different food options at pre-game venues. If I added a pie or hotdog at the stadium during the game I'd probably have to take up exercise.

Speaking of avoiding exercise, weren't we promised we'd be able to order food and drinks from our seats on the stadium app?

It's taking longer than expected to implement, Morgan, because there's one app for ordering hot dogs, one for ordering pies, one for burgers, and one for chips but that's click and collect.

On my first trip to the foodies there I got some chips. I asked where the chicken salt was and was told there wasn't any. Ok, where's the salt (I asked) - I was told there wasn't any - it wasn't good for me. I replied 'I'm glad Ghandi wasn t around to hear that' and the young girl said there wasn't a Nandos at the stadium. I gave up.

Yes got caught out on the onion as well - that's not classic and they aren't hot dog rolls either, so much bread and little else.
I pity a family where one kid wants a pie, another chips and the third a hotdog - 3 separate queues. Also checked out the sandwich place - ham or chicken with salad or beef and cheese. Sorry vegetarians. Haven't tried pizza yet.

Took our flask to game (didn't fancy queing at yet another place) and have been told it's ok and it was last time but this 'checker' was really doing her job, wanted it opened to see if the inside was made of glass - been years since they were around. Also girl in front had to take top off her tiny deodorant to show it was a roll on not aerosol. Wondered why it was taking so long getting through she had everyone emptying everything out of bags.

Well that's my gripe for the week.
